Every project needs a set of goals, and the Moore Family Heritage Project is no different. From the beginning the goals have been the same: compile our family history, publish our family history, and record our musical heritage. Below, you will find a summary of these goals.

Goal One: Compile Our Family History
The primary goal is to compile, chronicle, and assemble as much of our family history as possible. This would include biographies, photos, stories, letters, poems, and any other information that helps tell the story about our family's heritage. The primary focus of the project would be on Joel and Addie Moore, their children, as well as their families. In addition, focus would also be on the direct ancestral line leading to Joel Marvin Moore.

Goal Two: Publish Our Family History
Once compiled and edited, a printed version of our family's history and heritage would be made available to the extended Moore family. This publication would consist of all the information gathered as result of this project including biographies, photos, stories, letters, poems, and any other information gathered.

Goal Three: Record Our Musical Heritage
We all know that there are, and have been, many talented singers and musicians within our family. The goal here is to assemble on to a compact disc, as many existing or newly recorded songs that represent the Moore family's musical heritage. As with the printed family history, this would also be made available to the extended Moore family.
